What a wonderful first term we have had.  The children have settled in beautifully and had so much fun making new friends and learning through play.  They have loved our art activities which have included shakers to welcome the Ha Man, binoculars for our Wetlands outing, recycle trucks in honour of Recycle Day and of course, free painting, drawing, cutting, glueing and creating whatever they would like to from our art activity shelves.

New concepts are being learnt during our work cycle period and the children are so doing well with choosing their own work activities, being responsible for set up and pack away and respecting the children around them who are also learning.

Circle time is fun and full of laughter, singing, dancing and interesting discussions.  And then we head outside to play in our beautiful playground where there is so much to keep us busy.  Walking around Old Nick is also wonderful, we play on their Obstacle Course, visit the Mill, look for fish in the river, keep track of the Weaver Birds nests and find the Fairy Houses in the trees.

What a blessing it is to have such a special school.
